A rich Parisian built Manor Sainte Cécile in 1900 on the site of a former police. Home and housing are located in its own private land and land 10 acres with mature trees, pond and original cider press. The property is next to the main road from Paris to Mont St Michel, between the medieval town of Domfront and the spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne. The Manor House offers all types of housing for all those seeking a warm welcome and a relaxing holiday in the centre of Normandy. There are places to visit for all tastes and interests, the picturesque villages where time seems to stand still, the beaches and castles. There is large area of forests and parks ideal for walking and cycling, Mont St Michel is an hour by car to the West, the D - Day Landing beaches are 1.5 hours to the North, Versailles and Paris is 2.5 hours to the East, and Le Mans is 1.5 hours for the South. We are 7 kms from the famous and very picturesque spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne offering treatments for rheumatism, problems with blood circulation and for clients of the France and elsewhere. Domfront (10 km) was the medieval town which has been the seat of Henry II and Richard heart of Lion where England found this part of the France. The remains of the fortress may be visited, perched at the top of a rocky outcrop overlooking the surrounding countryside. The region is steeped in history of France. It offers relaxation and stimulation of the cultural zone to visit many things to do and experience combined with the charm of a local population that is warm and welcoming to all visitors.
