Located in the heart of Ouistreham, a few steps from the ferry port, Hotel Le Chalet is an ideal place to relax after a day spent discovering the Côte Fleurie and the D-Day beaches. One of the oldest buildings in Ouistreham, the hotel walls used to house a hospital during the First World War. Proud of the hotel's history, the owner has a photographic exhibition on the walls which trace the Chalet's evolution and its role in the city's history. Today, the Chalet boasts 18 rooms, a bar with terrace overlooking the Rue de la Mer and a breakfast room. Set in Ouistreham's main commercial street, the hotel is also 150 metres from the beach, casino and thalassotherapy centre. The hotel is open on December 24th, 25th and 31th at night and January 1st at night.
